The MyView Online Research Panel is owned and operated by I-view Pty Ltd ('I-view')(ABN 3110 527 6846) Level 14, 168 Walker Street, North Sydney NSW 2060
The MyView Points Program commenced on April 1st, 2009.
All active MyView panel members in Australia have a points account and are eligible to earn points and participate in the program.
The panel member is the only individual authorised to use his/her points account. Any use of the account by individuals other than the panelist is considered unauthorized use and may be grounds for termination and forfeit of points.
I-view Pty Ltd reserve the right to terminate panel membership and points program participation if a panelist violates these rules or any other rules of panel membership.
Upon registering with the MyView Online Research Panel you agree to be bound by our Terms and Conditions. I-view reserves the right to amend or terminate these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice, any amendments of which will be posted on the MyView website. Your subsequent use of the MyView website constitutes your acceptance of these amended Terms and Conditions.
Before being able to participate in the MyView Rewards Program, you must complete a registration form to become a member of our Online Panel. All information will be stored in accordance with our privacy policy (visit: http://www.myview.com.au/privacy.aspx)
To be a member of the MyView Online Research Panel, you must be an Australian resident aged 14 and over. If you are under the age of 18 you must obtain your parent's or legal guardian's consent before you register as a member. Each member can only hold one account. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time without cause or reason, and without any prior notice. Some reasons for termination include, but are not limited to:
- Violations of the Terms and Conditions
- More than one account held by the same member
- Lack of regular participation in online surveys
- An invalid email address
- False/fraudulent responses or other fraudulent activity
Employees and their immediate families of I-view Pty. Ltd, Zoom Direct Pty. Ltd. and any agencies associated with this research are ineligible to join.
You are responsible for ensuring the confidentiality of the password you receive upon registering with the MyView Online Research Panel, and for all activities that occur in relation to your password or account. It is your responsibility to alert I-view to any unauthorized use of your password or account. I-view will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this.
The MyView website uses Web Browser Cookies for two purposes:
- To enable a user to maintain a persistent login.
- To determine whether or not a user has already participated in a front page poll.
By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions, you agree to allow the MyView website to use cookies for the aforementioned purposes.
Two types of cookies are utilised by the MyView Website:
- A session based cookie, which is created when the user logs into the website, allowing them to remain temporarily logged in for a period up to 30 minutes, or until they close their browser (whichever of these two events occurs first).
- Persistent cookies, which are created whenever the user logs into the website and selects the "Stay Signed In" option, or whenever a user participates in a front page poll. Persistent cookies are stored on the user's computer, and contain no unencrypted personal information. The persistent login cookie allows the user to maintain a 'logged in' status for a period of up to 30 days since their last visit to the website. In the event that 30 days passes without the user visiting the MyView website, this persistent cookie will no longer be considered valid, and the user will once again be asked to login to the MyView website. The front page poll cookie contains no information whatsoever that specifically pertains to a user's account.
We assure you that neither cookie contains unencrypted personal information, nor do they allow for the collection of any unsolicited information that might subsequently be used to determine a user's eligibility for a survey, or to perform targeted market research.
Your account will be updated or credited each time you earn points by taking a survey. In most cases, your account will be credited by the next business day after survey completion, but may take up to 28 days. Your account will be debited immediately each time you redeem points.
In the event of occasional error, I-view Pty Ltd reserves the right to make adjustments to panelist points accounts.
In the future, additional methods of earning points may become available. Points may be added to accounts at the sole discretion of I-view Pty Ltd.
Points never expire as long as you continue to be an active member of the MyView panel and as long as the points program remains in effect.
However, if you unsubscribe from MyView or if your membership is terminated, your points account will be closed within 12 months and at that time, all points will be forfeited. Also, if you allow your membership to become inactive (that is, you don’t respond to any survey invitation for a period of time), we reserve the right to terminate your membership and close your account; in this case, all points will be forfeited as described above.
Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash. Points have no value apart from the value for redemption.
Points will be rewarded for every survey that is validly completed. These points can only be redeemed for rewards from our online rewards catalogue, and cannot be transferred or converted into cash. If you unsubscribe from our panel, or we remove you, any points you have accumulated in your account will be forfeited. If a member is suspected of dishonest or fraudulent behaviour, I-view maintains the right to terminate membership and any points earned.
The number of points you earn depends on the average length of any survey you complete, and as per what’s quoted on the email invitation we send to you and as listed as follows:
- 100 points for completed surveys of up to 10 minutes in length
- 200 points for completed surveys of between 11 and 20 minutes in length
- 300 points for completed surveys of between 21 and 30 minutes in length
- 400 points for completed surveys of between 31 and 40 minutes in length
- 500 points for completed surveys of between 41 and 50 minutes in length
NB. 100 points is approximately equivalent to AUD$1.00
We may at any time change the activities that entitle you to earn points; however, any such changes will be stated on our website.
You should receive your points within 28 days after a survey closes. It is your responsibility to contact MyView if your points are not properly deposited at any time. MyView will not be liable for any errors regarding points if you do not notify us within a reasonable period of time from when the error was made.
I-view reserves the right to make changes to any reward available in our online catalogue without prior notice. I-view does not take any responsibility for any liability arising in conjunction with the purchase or use of products available on our online catalogue. Any dispute about a product should be directed to the supplier or manufacturer of the goods. Any item redeemed for points may not be exchanged, returned or redeemed for cash.
I-view reserves the right to reclaim any rewards that are redeemed in error or due to fraudulent activity.
Once an item has been redeemed for points via our online catalogue, I-view is no longer responsible for any loss, damage or theft of any redeemed reward thereafter.
Members will be able to verify and/or change their mailing details before selected item is redeemed and points are deducted. Merchandise can only be shipped to approved Australian shipping locations and addresses accurately provided upon redemption.
Points cannot be transferred between panelist accounts.
Redemptions can be successfully processed only if you have enough points indicated for the item(s) selected.
Gift cards are subject to the terms and conditions (policies, redemptions, expiration dates) established by the issuing retailer and are subject to change. Certain retailers and/or denominations may be unavailable.
I-view will advise length of the time for delivery of products from the MyView Online Rewards Catalogue.
I-view Pty Ltd reserves the right at any time to withdraw this program or to modify, amend, or supplement these rules, in its sole discretion.
I-view Pty Ltd shall bear no responsibility whatsoever for injuries, losses, or damages of any kind that result from acceptance, possession and/or use of any item redeemed.
I-view may, at its discretion, make any changes to its rewards program or its website at any time, including the availability of any service feature, links, database, or site content without prior notice.
I-view is not responsible for any damage to a member's computer occasioned by participation in any activities associated with Myview or downloading of any information necessary to participate in the Myview Online Research Panel. We make no guarantee that any functions contained within this website or materials/content contained therein will be error-free or free of any harmful components, or that defects will be corrected.
I-view makes no warranty or representations about the accuracy or completeness of the MyView website, nor is it responsible for the content of any third party website that is linked to this website.
To the extent permissible by law, I-view shall not be liable in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for any direct or indirect, special, consequential or incidental damages or damages for loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, lost opportunities, cost of cover, exemplary, punitive, personal injury/wrongful death, special, incidental or other consequential damage or loss of use, arising out of or in connection with the MyView website or its contents or any website accessed from the MyView website or any other associated website. I-view excludes all implied conditions and warranties except any implied condition or warranty the exclusion of which would be void.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold I-view Pty Ltd, its employees, directors, officers, agents, and representatives from and against any and all third-party claims, demands, liabilities, costs or expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees and expenses, arising from, or related to, any breach by you of any of these Terms and Conditions or applicable law.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws in force in New South Wales and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts exercising jurisdiction in New South Wales.
